Did You Know: Updates to Dashboards

A few updates and additions have been made to the front-end Dashboards to add more functionality and information at hand.

Two new charts have been added to the Users page:

Top 25 User Logins: This is a pie chart that shows the top 25 users, ranked by their login counts in the timeframe the dashboard is filtered by. Hovering over the segments will show the name, username, and login count for each of the top 25 users.

Top 25 Order Placers: This is a line chart that shows the top 25 users, ranked by the number of orders they placed in the timeframe the dashboard is filtered by. The x-axis lists the users and the three lines show the order count, order quantity, and order line count for each user.

Note: Order Quantity adds up the quantities of each item in each order. Order Line Count adds up the number of line items in each order. Order Count counts one (1) for each order placed, regardless of quantities or number of order lines.

New user experience functionality added to the Products page:

You can now click segments in the Velocity Status and Current Inventory Alerts charts to engage a filter for that segment. The filter will reflect across all charts on the page. The dropdown filters are linked to this functionality so you will be able to see which filter was engaged at the top of the page.

Finally, a small tweak was made to the mouseover modals that show when hovering over a product in Products page. The SKU is now listed beneath the product name to improve the responsive sizing of the modal.

Benefits to You

  • New charts added to the Dashboards to show insights into the top 25 most active users.
  • Click to filter functionality added to the Products page to make it easier to quickly filter the dashboard to see info at a glance.

How It Works

These updates are live in the Dashboards feature and don’t require a setting to engage. On the front-end, go to Admin / Dashboards. The new charts can be found on the Users page and the new click to filter ability has been added to the Velocity Status and Current Inventory Alerts charts on the Products page.
