Did You Know you can now add emails to addresses in the Address Book to auto-populate the Alternative Email field during checkout?

We have added an optional email field to address entries on the front-end. If an end user selects an address from the address book during checkout and that address has an email associated with it, this will auto-populate the Alternative Email field.

This new email field can be used on address entries in both the Company Address Book (portal-level) and the User Address Book (user-level). 

Benefits to You

  • Assign email addresses to physical addresses in the Address Book to automate use of the Alternative Email field.
  • Allow users to attach alternative emails to addresses in their own user-level address book.

How It Works

You can associate emails with addresses in the Address Book by going to any address entry and filling in the Email field. Then click Update to save. This will cause that email to automatically populate the Alternative Email field during checkout if that addresses is selected from the Address Book.
