Did You Know you can send orders to 4over for production and fulfillment?

Our integration with 4over allows you to select what products you want 4over to produce and fulfill so you don’t have to.

Choose products from 4over such as business cards, flyers and hang tags, configure them using available specs from 4over (size, paper stock, coating, etc.), link them to a part in Propago and 4over will produce and fulfill when that part is ordered by an end user.

Important note: You must match the price and run size from 4over products you select when connecting 4over products to parts in Propago. 4over prices and run sizes do not carry over to a Propago part, you must configure them manually (see step 5).

  • For example, if an end user orders 250 business cards for a part connected to 4over, but the 4over product only has run size options of 50, 100, 200, and 500, 4over will receive, produce, fulfill, and submit a charge for 500 business cards, as that is the next size up.
  • This can be avoided by making sure the Propago part matches the run size options from the 4over product associated to it.

Important note: Your Propago portal shipping options can be different from shipping options available from 4over. Each 4over product comes with specific shipping options from 4over. For example, if you assign “Ground” during a 4over product configuration, when ordered, it will ship “Ground” even if the user selects “Next Day” in Propago.

How It Works

Here are the main steps to use the 4over integration:

  1. Create a 4over account
  2. Create a new drop shipper in Propago
  3. Add 4over as a Data Connector in Propago and link it to the new drop shipper
  4. Create 4over Part Configurations in Propago, selecting from 4over product options/configurations.
  5. Assign 4over Part Configurations to new or existing parts in Propago.

1. Create a 4over account

You will need an existing account with 4over in order to use Propago’s 4over integration. You can create a new 4over account or use an existing account. You will need to know your 4over Public Key, Private Key and Payment Token as these will be required to set up 4over as a data connector in step 3.

2. Create a new drop shipper in Propago

In order to link specific parts to the 4over data connector you will need to create a new drop shipper in Propago. You will use this new drop shipper while setting up 4over as a new data connector in the next step. Then by linking this drop shipper to parts, the system will know which order-lines to route 4over for fulfillment.

  1. In the back end, go to Tools / System / Producing Partners.
  2. Click Add Drop Shipper.
  3. Fill out the form.
  4. Click Save.

3. Add 4over as a Data Connector

From your 4over account, your Public Key, Private Key and Payment Token will be used to set up the data connector in Propago. To create a 4over data connector:

  1. In the back end, to Tools / Data Connectors / Add New Connector.
  2. Under Data Provider Type, select Vendor Service.
  3. Under Data Provider, select 4over.
  4. Set Test Mode = No.
  5. Under Connector Name, add a name, i.e. 4over.
  6. Under the dropdown “Active”, select Active.
  7. Add your Public Key and Private Key provided by 4over.
  8. Select the new drop shipper that was created in step 2.
  9. Under Payment Token, click Refresh Payment Profiles and select your Payment Token. This will come from your 4over account.

4. Create Part Configurations using options available from 4over

The next step is to create special “4over Part Configurations”, which will have you choose from the products and product spec options available from 4over. These part configurations will then be linked to SKUs in your Propago site.

  1. Go to Tools / Data Connectors.
  2. Click “Part Config” in the row of your 4over Data Connector.
  3. Click “Create Part Config”.
  4. Select what type of part you want to configure – business card, flyers, hang tags, etc.

4. Choose the desired specs for that part – size, paper stock, coating, etc.

5. Keep scrolling down to choose other relevant specs such as orientation, color, run size options and shipping options.

6. Choose how the part ships

7. Give the Part Config a name and save.

8. The part config will show under the Part Config table for 4over.

5. Assign a 4over Part Configuration to a Part in Propago

The next step is to link a 4over part configuration to a new or existing part in Propago. This is where it is important to pay close attention to the setup of your Propago part to make sure it matches the details of the 4over part configuration. In particular, make sure the run sizes of the 4over config and the shipping options match the quantity options and shipping options of your Propago part.

  1. Go to Part / Parts.
  2. Create a new part or select an existing part.
  3. Under the section “Workflow Options”, click on dropdown called “Producing Partner Vendor” and select the drop shipper you created for use with 4over in step 2.
  4. Make sure you save before the next step.
  5. Under section “Workflow Options”, click on Select External Part.
  6. Select the Part Config that you created in your 4over data connector > Save
  7. To configure run size and price, set “Use Price Break Quantity” to Yes > Save
  8. Go to “Price Lists” on that part, click on Create Discount > add quantities that match your 4over run sizes and price.
