Did You Know you can assign parts to Shipment Boxes to improve the accuracy of shipment estimates?
Shipment Boxes allow you to tell the system which parts will be grouped in a box when shipping. When multiple parts that are assigned to the same Shipment Box are ordered together, this information will be used when estimating the shipping cost for the order.
Each Shipment Box is given a max weight per box. This info will also be used for shipment cost estimating.

How It Works
To create a Shipment Box:
- Go to System / Carriers in the back end.
- Click Manage Shipment Boxes in the upper-right corner.
- Click Add Box Size and give the Shipment Box a name and a max weight.
- Click Update to create the Shipment Box
To assign a Shipment Box to a part:
- Go to Part in the back end and select a part.
- Find the option called Box Size in the Basic Settings section.
- Use the dropdown to select a Shipment Box.
