Did You Know “Pieces” is listed on front end inventory management and purchase order pages?
The “pieces” quantity refers to the number of items that make up a single sellable unit for a given part. New columns for Pieces have been added to the front end Purchase Order Details page and the Inventory Management page.
In addition, the pieces quantity can be seen when creating a new Purchase Order via the Inventory Management page.
Benefits to the Client
- Consistent and convenient access to all relevant information about parts, including the “pieces per”, on part and inventory management pages for front end admins.
- Quickly see the “pieces” quantity of a part when making or managing Purchase Orders.
How It Works
Front end admins with access to the Inventory Management and Purchase Orders pages will be able to see pieces information for parts on these pages.
On the Inventory Management pages, the column labeled “Pieces” lists the “pieces” quantity for each part shown.
Also, users can create a new Purchase Order from this page by clicking on the inbox icon in the last column, to the right of the Files column. See below for reference:
The “pieces per” information will be listed in the Create a PO pop-up as well.
By going to Admin / Purchase Orders and selecting an existing purchase order, front end admins can see the “pieces” quantity for all parts in the purchase order in the “Pieces Per Each” column.
