Did You Know you can edit an order’s custom field information in the back end?
We have made a few changes to the custom order fields in the back-end Order Maintenance page. All currently set-up custom fields are visible on all orders regardless of whether the fields are populated or empty. In addition, these fields can be edited on the Order Maintenance page in any order status.
You can use custom fields to collect extra information about orders during checkout. Learn more about Custom Fields.
Benefits to You
- Enables back-end users to utilize custom order fields for reporting or other purposes even if the end user leaves the field blank on their order.
- Quickly make changes to custom field info on an order regardless of the order status.
How It Works
To edit an order’s custom field information:
- In the back end, go to Orders / Search / Select the order.
- In the Order Fields section, click the Edit button in the top right corner.
- Edit the custom order fields as needed.
- Click Save.
