Did You Know you can change what packages of parts are called on the portal?

By default, the unit of measure for parts with more than one pieces per each is “packs.” In other words, if a part has 50 pieces per each and a price of $9,99, it will say $9.99 per pack and 50 per pack on the portal.
You can define new units of measure to customize what packages of parts are called on the portal.

Benefits to the Client
- More accurately represent to end users what they will be getting when they order parts that come in packages (rolls, boxes, bundles, etc.).
How It Works
To create a new unit of measure:
- Go to the Unit of Measure section in the back end. Parts / Unit of Measure
- Click Add Unit of Measure.
- Define what the unit of measure will be called in its singular and plural form. (i.e. Singular: per box, Plural: boxes)
- Click Create.
- Now this unit of measure will be available to choose on a part’s detail page.
To change a part’s unit of measure:
- Go to a part’s detail page. Part / Parts / Select Part
- In the Basic Settings section, find the Unit of Measure option.
- Select the unit of measure you want to give this part.
