Did You Know you can customize the system emails that Propago sends out?

The system emails that go out to users can be customized on a portal-wide and User Group-wide scale. These system emails include Welcome Emails, Order Confirmation and Shipment emails, and Approval Workflow emails. You can customize the subject and the content of these system emails. HTML can be added to the body of custom emails to customize the appearance.

How It Works

To create a custom email, go to System > Site > Custom Emails.

  1. Click Add Email and select the Email Type.
  2. Enter a name for the custom email. Note, this is an internal name, not the subject of the email.
  3. Fill the subject field. This will be the subject line of the email.
  4. Make sure the Active checkbox is checked. You can unselect this in the future if you wish to keep the template but make it inactive.
  5. Enter the content of the email into the text field at the bottom. You can enter plain text here or HTML to craft the look of the email.
  6. The toolbar above the text field allows you to preview the email, send a test email, and add tags such as Shipping Address and User Name to add variable information to the email.
  7. Click Create.
  8. Click Link Email to choose which portals and User Groups to link this custom email to.

Custom emails can be edited or deleted via the icons to the right of each email template.
