Did You Know you can now automatically email users when their order is closed?

We are excited to announce a new portal-level setting that allows you to automatically notify end users when their orders are complete. The new Send Final Status Email setting will trigger an email to be sent when an order’s status changes to “Closed”.
This feature helps keep users informed about their order’s progress, providing a better overall experience. It also reduces the need for manual follow-ups, saving you time and effort.

How it Works
“Send Final Status Email” is a customer-level setting that is found by going to Portals -> Select a Customer -> Settings, in the Order Settings section.
Starting from the date that you enable the “Send Final Status Email” setting on a portal, when orders for the portal enter “Closed” status, the system will automatically send a status update email to the user who placed the order.
This setting comes with a new customizable email template that you can edit by going to System -> Site -> Custom Emails. You can edit the “Order Closed” email template to match your branding and include any additional information you’d like to provide to your customers.
