Did You Know part workflow options enable you control how the system handles different product types?
Propago enables you to offer a wide variety of products to your client. Part workflow options allow you to tailor how the system handles each part, to maximize efficiency, meet client needs, and ensure a smooth operation.
Here, we will go over specifically the workflow options that can be relevant to non-print products:
Purchase Workflow Part: Turn this on for products that will be received in and pushed through Propago using the Purchase Order workflow.
Require Purchase Order: When enabled, requires the part to be associated with a Purchase Order to be received into the system.
Serialization: When enabled, requires one or more serial numbers to be captured when picking the part for an order. You can set the number of serial numbers needed per pick, ranging from 1 to 5. Learn More.
Service Part: Service Part is a part that does not require shipment or production workflow, yet the client wants reporting and traceability on the item. When the order is submitted, order lines for these parts with this setting will automatically be closed. Learn More.
Producing Partner: The part will be handled by a third-party drop shipper. A fulfillment notification email will be sent to the drop shipper, including a link to a page where they can enter the shipping quantity, tracking number, and actual shipping cost. This information updates the order and triggers a shipment notification to the end user.
Fixed Asset: Enables the part to go through the Fixed Asset workflow. The workflow for Fixed Assets is designed to simplify the management of reusable assets, providing visibility and control over their availability and usage. Learn More.
