Did You Know you can filter front-end part searches by part category?
We have added Part Category to the advanced search options on the front-end Part Maintenance page. This enables front-end admins to quickly narrow the results of their part search to parts within a certain part category.
The Part Category filter field will present options as the user starts typing, dynamically displaying a dropdown list based on the input. This can be handy when you want to filter by part category but you aren’t 100% sure of the exact name of the category. Or if you have multiple categories with similar naming conventions, you don’t have to type out the entire name to quickly find and select the right category.

- Speed up part maintenance workflows with the ability to filter the part search results by category on the fly.
- Select a part category to filter by quickly and easily, regardless of how many part categories you have, with the dynamically predictive search field.
How It Works
To filter the Part Maintenance search results by part category:
- On the front-end, go to Admin > Parts.
- Click “Advanced Search”. A panel with search filtering options will open.
- Enter the part category you want to filter the search by in the Part Category field.
- Click Search.
