Did You Know you can now create hidden price breaks?
New Setting: “Hidden Discount”
There is a new option in price lists called “Hidden Discount” that when enabled will hide that specific price break on the front-end but still apply the discount when calculating order totals.
Price breaks that are hidden will not appear anywhere on the front end, including part details, in the cart, in the part quantity dropdown, etc. The volume-based discount will still trigger when calculating order totals, including for Offers and pricing aggregates.
This option is available for both part-level price lists and standard price lists.
Benefits to You
- Create more detailed pricing structures for parts without overwhelming users with many dropdown choices.
- Take advantage of part aggregations with pricing tiers that extend beyond the quantity options users have.
How It Works
To hide a price break on a part or standard price list:
- In the back-end, navigate to the price list:
- For standard price lists, this is done by going to Part > Standard Pricelist, and selecting a price list.
- For part-level price lists, this done by going to Part > Parts > select a part > Price Lists > select a price list.
- Check the box in the “Hidden Discount” column for the price break you want to hide.
- Click “Save”.
