Did You Know you can enable or disable automatic Address Verification?
Address Verification is a company-level setting. With Address Verification turned on, the system will invoke an API during the checkout process that verifies that the user’s ship-to address is an existing address.
Note that users can still opt to reject the recommended address when they input an address that is not verifiable or found, but this is a great tool to assist in correcting shipping addresses.
Benefits to You
- Verify ship-to addresses during the checkout process.
- Users can choose to accept or reject address recommendations during the verification process.
How It Works
To enable or disable address verification:
- Go to Portals / Select a Customer / Settings.
- In the Order Settings section find the setting called Address Verification.
- Set to “Yes” to enable or “No” to disable.
- Click Save.
