Did You Know you can configure how mailing lists process duplicate addresses?

Deduplication Type is a new part-level setting that lets you choose whether the mailing list de-duplication process targets addresses by the individual or by household.

Setting the Deduplication Type to “By Individual” will count entries with the same address but different names as unique.

Setting the Deduplication Type to “By Household” will consolidate entries with the same address.

Benefits to the Client

  • Enable users to send direct mail to multiple individuals within a single household.
  • Configure this Deduplication Type per part.

How It Work

To configure how a part handles deduplication:

  1. Go to Part / Parts / Select a Part.
  2. On the Basic Information page, scroll down to the List Options section.
  3. Set Deduplication Type to either By Individual or By Household.
