Did You Know you can now send automatic shipment reminders to drop ship vendors?

Control the timing for up to three automatic email reminders to go out to drop ship vendors with pending shipments. At Propago, we’re always looking for ways to help you streamline your order fulfillment process. Our latest enhancement gives you the power to set up automatic email reminders for your drop ship vendors, helping to ensure timely shipment of orders regardless of who is fulfilling.

With this new portal-level setting, you can now configure up to three sequential email reminders that will automatically notify third-party drop ship vendors when an order needs their attention. If a vendor hasn’t confirmed shipment by submitting tracking information, Propago will send gentle nudges to help keep orders on track—no manual follow-ups needed!

Benefits to You

  • Reduce Delays: Automated reminders help ensure orders don’t slip through the cracks.
  • Boost Drop Ship Timeliness: Vendors are prompted to act, with a link to submit shipment details.
  • Save Time: Spend less time chasing down order statuses and more time focusing on your business.

How It Works

These automatic email reminders for drop ship vendors are opt-in, meaning they are turned off by default. You can control on a portal-level whether to enable the email reminders and the cadence at which they go out. The way it works is as follows:

  • Decide how many days after the order is placed the first reminder should go out if no shipment tracking number has been submitted.
  • Choose delays for the second and third reminders, if needed.
  • Each email includes a direct link, making it quick and easy for vendors to confirm shipment and add tracking details.

If you don’t want reminders to go out, simply leave the delay settings at zero—no emails will be sent unless you enable them. Getting started is simple:

  1. Go to Portals and select the customer.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Scroll to the Configure Alerts section.
  4. Find the setting labeled Drop Shipper – Shipment Reminder (email).
  5. Select a number of days to delay before each reminder (first, second, third).
  6. Click Save.

That’s it! Your drop ship vendors will now receive timely email reminders, making it easier for everyone to keep orders moving and customers happy.
