Did You Know you can now move inventory on the Part Locator page?

We recently added the ability to adjust inventory on the Part Locator page in the back end. Now, you can also move inventory from one location to another on the Part Locator as well. 

Together, these two new options on the Part Locator make it easier to adjust inventory on the fly, without needing to go to the Inventory Transactions section.  

Benefits to You

• Quickly make location changes for parts while using the Part Locator.
• Adjust and move inventory on the fly without navigating to the Move Inventory or Adjust Inventory pages. 

How It Works

To move inventory on the Part Locator page:

1. Go to Warehouse / Part Locator.
2. Search for a part. 
3. Next to the number in the “On-Hand” column, click the “Move” button. 
4. Select a destination location by either searching or clicking the dropdown arrow in the Destination Location field. 
5. Input the quantity to move.
6. Optionally, add a comment to this move.
7. Click Save.
