Did You Know users can now edit the contents of a kit in their cart?
We have added the ability to edit the components of kits that are in the cart. This includes being able to change quantities, add or remove products, reconfigure product options, and redo product personalization.
This new cart functionality gives users the flexibility to browse and add standalone products and kits to their cart with the knowledge that they can easily adjust their kits if they need to.
The kit editing process is easy and intuitive. Clicking the pencil icon next to a kit in the cart will take users back to the kit setup page where they can change the kit however they’d like. Clicking “Add to Cart” will take them back to the cart and updated the details of the kit.
Benefits to the Client
- Edit kits after you’ve added them to your cart, including personalization information.
- Change kit details such as product quantities, add or remove products, choose different options for configured parts as needed.
- Kit editing works for all kit types, Build Kits, Dynamic Kits, Bundles, Offers & Tradeshows.
How It Works
No setting changes are required to enable kit editing. To edit a kit in your cart:
- Go to your Cart.
- Click the pencil icon next to the name of the kit you want to edit.
- You will be taken to the kit’s page with it’s current configuration.
- Edit the contents of the kit as needed.
- Click “Add to Cart”.
- You will be taken back to your cart, which will be updated with the edits made.
- If your kit contains any personalized products that you want to re-personalize, this can be done from the cart by clicking the pencil icon next to the personalized product, located right before the proof name.
- You will be taken to the proofing page for the product where you can change the personalization details as needed.
- Click “Continue”, fill out the initial and proof name field, and click “Accept”.
- You will be taken back to your cart, which will be updated with the edits made.
