Did You Know you can now set all sections to be expanded by default in a Build a Kit?
New Setting: Expand All Sections
Expand All Sections is a setting exclusive to “Build a Kit” type part kits. You can use Expand All Sections to have a Build a Kit default with all sections expanded rather then being collapsed.
This makes it so that when users click to customize the Build a Kit, all product options will be visible without needing to click the expand icons for each section.
Benefits to the Client
- Users can quickly see all product options at a glance when customizing a Build a Kit.
- Useful user experience option for Build a Kits with many configured sections.
- As a kit-level setting, clients can choose which Build a Kit type kits they want to default as expanded and which they want to default with collapsed sections.
How It Works
Expand All Sections is set to “No” by default. To make a kit have all product sections expanded by default when opened:
- In the back-end, go to Part / Part Kits.
- Select or create a kit with the kit type of “Build a Kit”.
- In the Part Kit Information section, set “Expand All Sections” to “Yes”.
- Click “Save”.
