Did You Know you can give Pick Priority rankings to locations?
We have added a new feature to the Location Manager that allows you to give locations a Pick Priority number. The higher the number, the higher on the priority list for the system to pick when an order is waved.
Pick Priority is an optional feature. It also does not need to be specified for each location to function. If no locations have a Pick Priority set, then order waving picks will happen as normal, with priority going to locations with First Pick Priority enabled, and then FIFO.
Benefits to You
- Control order waving pick priority more granularly by assigning Pick Priority rankings to locations.
How It Works
To give a location a Pick Priority number:
- In the back end, go to System / Location Manager.
- Click on the name of a location to open its settings.
- In the field called Pick Priority, input a number.
If any locations are given a Pick Priority number, they will be at the top of the list for order waving pick priority, in order of highest number first. This means the order waving pick priority goes as follows:
- Pick Priority (from highest to lowest)
- First Pick Locations
- FIFO
