Did You Know you can disable the “Expiring in XX Days” pop-up?

web to print marketing portals

Product expiration is an optional part feature that will cause a part to be pulled from the storefront automatically on a specified date. There is a setting that will show a pop-up alert when a user adds a product to their cart which will be expiring soon. The setting allows you to specify how many days before the expiration date that the pop-up will be triggered.

There is now an option to disable this alert entirely. This option doesn’t affect the expiration function for parts. It just disables the pop-up alert warning users of upcoming an expiration date.

Benefits to the Client

  • Control whether or not users will see an upcoming expiration alert when adding a product set to expire to their cart.
  • Use the expiring part feature without alerting users about product expirations on the storefront.

How It Works

To disable the “Expiring in XX Days” alert:

  • Go to Portals / Select a Customer / Settings.
  • Scroll down to the Configure Alerts section.
  • Find the option called “Expiring within XX Days (PopUp)”.
  • Set the drop-down to “Disabled”.
  • Click Save.
