Did You Know the Show Open Orders view on a part’s details page now has expanded filter options?
On the back end part details page, the Show Open Orders view lets you quickly see all open orders for that part. This feature has been updated with new filter options, including the ability to filter the view to see only Backordered open orders.
The filter for Show Open Orders can show All Open Orders, only Released orders, only Firmed orders, or only Backordered orders. With either the Released, Firmed, or Backordered filter selected, you have the ability to close or cancel order lines.
You can check the box at the top left of the view to select all orders within the chosen filter and either close or cancel the list of order lines all at once.
Benefits to You
- See all open orders for a part on the part’s details page.
- Filter open orders by Released, Firmed, or Backordered.
- Close or cancel order lines within the Show Open Orders view.
How It Works
To see open orders for a part:
- In the back end, go to Part / Parts / Select a Part.
- On the Basic Information page, select the option called “Show Open Orders” below the the “Show Part History” button.
- Use the drop down to filter the view to only Released, Firmed, or Backordered orders that contain this part.
- With either Released, Firmed, or Backordered selected, you can use the Close Order Line and Cancel Order Line buttons to close or cancel a selection of orders for the part.
