Did You Know there is a new optional feature to Auto Cancel Orders after a set amount of time?

The new Auto Cancel Orders feature allows you to choose a timeframe and have the system automatically cancel all orders on a portal that age past that timeframe. Auto canceled orders will also trigger an automated email to the user with the order to alert and confirm that the order has been canceled.

You can configure Auto Cancel Orders to run based on a 30-, 60-, 90-, or 180-day rolling timeframe. This is a portal-level feature that is opt-in and will be set to “No” by default.

Benefits to You

  • Prevent situations of building up a backlog of orders that need to be manually canceled.
  • Set an expiration system to automatically cancel open orders that are unreleased after a certain time.
  • The Auto Cancel system will ignore orders that have been partially shipped.

How It Works

To turn on Auto Cancel Orders:

  1. In the back end, go to Portals / Select a Customer / Settings.
  2. In the Warehouse & Shipping Settings section, find the Auto Cancel Orders option.
  3. Change from “No” to your desired auto-cancel timeframe: 30, 60, 90, or 180 days.
  4. Save.
