Did You Know you can turn off the cropping step for image variables using soft proof projects?
We have added a new option in soft proof projects to turn off the cropping step for an image variable. Turning on the “No Cropping” option for an image variable will cause the interface to skip the image cropping step after a user uploads an image while proofing.
This can help speed up the proofing process for products with image variables that don’t need to be cropped to fit.
Benefits to the Client
- Skip the cropping step during proofing with uploaded images.
- Improve the user experience while proofing.
How It Works
This option can be enabled for an image variable by going into the product’s soft proof project and checking the “No Cropping” checkbox for that image variable.
- Go to Proofing / Soft Proof Projects / Select a project.
- Find the image variable and check the “No Cropping” option.
- Click “Save”.
