Did You Know you can search for users by the Custom 01 Field?

In the back end User page, you can now search for users by the contents of the Custom 01 field. These custom fields are optional fields on a user’s profile that can be used in reports and product personalization. See more about user-level custom fields.

You can use the custom fields to add information about users that isn’t included in the standard profile fields. For example, if there is a need to report on users that are associated with a specific internal region code, this information can be included in the field Custom 01.

Benefits to You

• Use user custom fields to tag users with additional information not covered by the other fields in their profile.
• Filter the back end user search page by the Custom 01 field.

How It Works

The custom fields can be found by going to Portals / Select a Customer / Users / Select a User. In the Custom Fields section, you’ll find Custom 01, Custom 02, and Custom 03.

You’ll see that the search bar on the back end User page now includes Custom 01 among the possible variables you can search by.
