Did You Know you can choose whether to include custom fields in order emails?

The setting “Include Custom Fields in Emails” lets you control whether custom field information is listed on order confirmation and order shipped emails. This setting can be controlled at both the portal and the user group level.

Custom fields can be used to collect more information about orders during checkout that is not covered by one of the default fields. See the following for more information about custom fields.

  • Choose whether to include custom field information in order to communicate emails.
  • Include custom field information in order emails for particular user groups while excluding from others.

How It Works

Find this setting by going to Portals / Select a Customer / Settings / Order Settings. The setting is called “Include Custom Fields in Emails”.

If you want to change this setting for a specific user group, go to Portals / Select a Customer / User Groups / Select a User Group / Settings / Order Settings.
