Did You Know cross-sale parts can be shown in the user’s cart or on the part page?

web to print marketing portal

Cross-selling products on Propago gives you a simple way to increase sales by suggesting products to users while they are shopping.

For example, if a user adds an order of business cards to his or her cart, the interface can suggest other stationery products such as letterheads and envelopes to be added along with their order.

This is done by associating products together in the Cross Sale section of the backend.

Cross sale associations come in two types: Cart Level and Part Level.

Cart Level associations mean the cross sale part will be suggested when the user is on the cart page.

Part Level associations mean the cross sale part will be suggested when the user is on the main part’s details page.

You can also set a cross-sale part to show in both places.

Benefits to You

  • Promote other marketing materials relevant to those products users add to their cart
  • Increase sales
  • Help end users find products they need

How It Works

In the back end, you can link SKUs to a parent SKU and those items will be suggested to add to the cart either in on the cart part or on the parent SKU’s details page.

  • Go to Part / Cross Sale.
  • Click Add New Cross Sale.
  • Use the search bar to choose a parent SKU.
  • Use the Add New Cross Sale button to add parts to be suggested to users.
  • The Cross-Sell Type field allows you to specify whether the cross-sale suggestion will be at the part level, cart level, or both.

You can always edit these cross-sale configurations to add more parts, change cross-sale types, or remove parts.
