Did You Know you can choose what column the date range selector will filter by in reports?

propago front end reports

You now have the ability in reports to choose what attribute the date range selector will look at to filter your report results.

For example, if you are looking at an Orders report and select Date Order Closed as the Filter By column, the report will show orders that were closed between the start and end date. If you select Date Order Placed, the report will show orders that were placed between those dates.

This feature is supported on both the front and back end.

Benefits to You

  • Have more control over your reports and how they are filtered.
  • Choose what column the date range selector will use to filter each report by.
  • The Filter by Column selection will be saved in your report view and in scheduled reports.

How It Works

To change the column that the date range selector is filtering by in a report:

  • Go to a report in either the front or back end.
  • Click Select Date Range.
  • Use the Filter by Column drop-down to change the attribute that the date range will filter using.
