Did You Know you can set a display name and image for Dynamic User Groups?

marketing portal web print

Dynamic User Groups give users the ability to switch between user groups. This can have all sorts of use cases. An example would be creating two user groups with different languages set up using screen definitions. Linking these two user groups together as a dynamic user group would enable users to choose their language upon login and switch between the user groups at any time.

More about Dynamic User Groups

With the Display Image and Display Name settings, you can set an image and name that users will see when they have the option to switch between different user groups.

Benefits to the Client

  • Users in Dynamic Groups can easily distinguish between their user group options upon login.

How It Works

  • Go Portals / Select a Customer / User Groups / Select a User Group.
  • In the Basic Information section:
    • Use the Display Name field to set a name that users will see on the front end.
    • Upload an image to Display Image. Users will see this image when choosing a user group upon login.
