Did You Know users can rate and review products?
Product ratings have become a ubiquitous feature of e-commerce sites. They present an intuitive way for users to leave feedback on products. We’ve added a product rating system to Propago to give your clients an easy way to get feedback on their storefront products.
Products Reviews is a feature that can be turned on or off at the customer-level.
Features of Product Reviews:
- Products can only be rated by users who have previously ordered the product.
- Users can optionally leave comments with the rating.
- See the average rating for a product and a ratings breakdown similar to Amazon.
- Email requests to review products will be sent to users 5 days after an order closes.
Benefits to the Client
- Passively collect feedback from users on the products they have ordered.
- See at a glance which products are well-liked and which are not.
- Read comments from users about their experience with specific products.
How It Works
To turn on Product Reviews:
- In the back end, go to Portals / Select a Customer / Settings.
- Find the Allow Product Reviews option in the User Experience section.
- Select “Yes” from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
With this setting turned on, users can leave reviews by going to their order history page or via review request emails that will be sent out 5 days after an order closes.
On the storefront, products that have at least one review will show the average star rating. Clicking the star rating will open the full product rating page. Here you can see the ratings breakdown and all comments left with reviews.
Users can also rate and review products by going to their order history. To leave a review on a product you have ordered before:
- On the front end, go to Account / Orders.
- Select an order that has closed.
- Click the Review Purchases button.
