Did You Know you can use New Revision to copy parts and kits?

If you have many similar parts that need to be set up, the New Revision button can help you save time. Use it to make a duplicate of a part with a new SKU. The duplicate part or kit will carry over the setup options, including print specs and parts in kit.

Now you can also use New Revision to duplicate a part kit. This can be useful if you want to create several versions of a kit quickly.

How It Works

To create a part revision:

  • In the back end, go to Part / Parts / Select a part.
  • Click the New Revision Button at the bottom of the screen.
  • Give the revision a unique SKU.
  • Click Save.

This new revision will have the same set up options as the original except for the attached soft proofing project.

Use the same process to duplicate a kit:

  • Go to Part / Part Kits / Select a kit.
  • Click the New Revision Button.
  • Give the revision a unique SKU.
  • Click Save.
