Did You Know you can the toggle options in soft proof projects make it easier to set up variables?
When creating a soft proof project, a critical step is designating the Editable, Hidden, and Required status of each variable. For templates with many variables, checking and unchecking these boxes can take time. The toggle options make this task easier.
Use the Toggle Editable, Toggle Hidden and Toggle Required buttons to check or uncheck these respective options for all currently selected variables. This can be used in conjunction with the select all variables button to speed up your template setup workflow.
Benefits to You
- Use the toggle options and the “select all” function to make changes to soft proof variables in bulk.
How It Works
To use the Toggle Editable, Toggle Hidden and Toggle Required buttons:
- Go to Proofing / Soft Proof Projects / Select a project.
- Select the variables with attributes you want to alter, either by checking the box next to each variable or checking the “select all” box.
- Use the toggle options to check or uncheck the Editable, Hidden, and Required attributes.
