Did You Know we’ve made a few adjustments to how back-end part search works?

We’ve made a few changes to the back end part search functionality to make finding the parts you’re looking for a little easier. These small convenience improvements are a direct result of feedback from our users. The changes include:

  • A new filter for Customer Owned parts
  • The initial page load no longer loads parts until a search is made
  • The advanced search options now stay expanded upon new searches
  • Defaults to 50 results
  • Results are sorted by SKU by default

  • Small user interface tweaks to make part searching easier.

How It Works

All these changes are in effect and do not need to be turned on. The new filtering option is called “Is Customer Owned” and can be found in the expanded search options. It defaults to All, meaning both customer owned and regular, produced items will appear.
