Did You Know you can set the part categories menu to display horizontally?

Show Store Menu Horizontal is a new portal option that changes the part categories menu from a drop-down to a horizontal display like so:

Only top-level categories will be expanded. Categories grouped under a top-level category will still be in a dropdown like the Random category in the above example.

Benefits to the Customer

  • Another option for storefront menu functionality.
  • For clients with many sub-categories grouped under top-level categories this can be a user experience improvement.

How It Works

To turn on Show Store Menu Horizontal, go to Portals / Select a Customer / Settings. This option is in the User Experience section. Change the option to “Yes” and click Save.
