Did You Know you can add keywords to parts for searchability?

Part keywords allow you to add search terms to parts to make them easier to find on the portal. It can be useful to add keywords that are not in a part’s description or title but might be used by an end user when searching for that item. For example, if you have a company tote bag product you can add synonyms or related words like “gear”, “duffle”, and “carry” as keywords.

Benefits to the Customer

• Add synonyms or other keywords that aren’t in a part’s title or description as keywords.
• Improve portal ease of use by making parts more searchable.

How It Works

You can add keywords by going to a part’s back end details page: Part / Parts / Select a Part. The Keywords field is just below Proofing Comments.

To add multiple keywords, just separate each keyword with a comma. This can be done with or without spaces:

• duffle,carry,gear

or

• duffle, carry, gear
