Did you know you can allow or restrict Weekend Shipping?
With this option you can prevent users from choosing a weekend day as their Desired Ship Date when checking out.
This is a customer-level setting that can be turned on or off per customer as needed.
Benefits to You
- Restrict orders from being placed with a Desired Ship Date on Saturday or Sunday
- Turn on or off weekend shipping per customer.
How It Works
To disallow weekend shipping:
- Go to Portals / Select a Customer / Settings.
- Under the Warehouse & Shipping Settings section, find the Allow Weekend Setting option.
- Set this option to “No”.
This option is also enforced when the user does not have permission to select a Desired Ship Date. The system automatically calculates company and part lead times and forces the Desired Ship date to fall on the following Monday if otherwise it would fall on a weekend day.
