Did You Know you can change pop-up behavior with Configure Alerts?
In last week’s DYK, we talked about how to adjust email reminders in the Configure Alerts section of the portal settings. You can also adjust the behavior of 3 types of pop-ups in this section:
Approval Workflow Triggered: Set a pop-up to appear when an order triggers an approval workflow.
Shipping in More than XX Days: Set a pop-up to appear when a user checks out with an item that has a lead time over a certain number of days.
Expiring within XX Days: Set a pop-up to appear when a user checks out with an item that will expire from the storefront within a certain number of days.
Benefits to the Customer
- Make sure users see important information before checking out such as expected ship dates and expire dates.
- Control the threshold when shipping date pop-ups and expiring item pop-ups are triggered.
How It Works
To configure these pop-ups, go to Portals / Select a Customer / Settings. Scroll down to the Configure Alerts section.
