Did You Know DAM Sharing lets users send digital assets to any email address?

With the share feature in the Digital Asset Management module, users can send download links for digital assets to any email address. This means users can share digital assets even with people without accounts on the portal. The link created for the recipients will allow them to download the file without allowing access to the portal.

Multiple email addresses can be entered when sharing. Users can also add a comment along with the shared asset.  

Benefits to the Client

  • Easily share digital assets stored on the DAM with users via email.
  • Send digital assets on the DAM to email addresses not connected to a portal account.

How It Works

To share a digital asset, go to the DAM section of the portal.

  • Underneath the Add to Cart button, click the Share icon, the middle icon.  
  • Enter an email address into the first field. Hit enter.
  • You can add more email addresses, hitting enter between each.
  • Optionally, add a comment in the second field.
  • Click Send File.

Clicking the thumbnail in the email will take the recipient to a unique webpage with a link to download the file.
