Did You Know soft proofing projects support rich text fields?

Rich text fields allow end users to use text formatting when proofing. Supported text formatting elements include: Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Superscript, Subscript, and Special Characters.

You can enable these rich text formatting options on a text variable by selecting the RichTextArea variable type in the soft proofing project settings. This feature gives users more flexibility when designing their personalized materials.

Benefits to the Client

• Add more formatting options to text fields: Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Superscript, Subscript, and Special Characters.
• Allows users more flexibility when personalizing their materials.

How It Works

In the soft proofing project settings, select the RichTextArea option in the variable type dropdown. You also have the ability to set default text for the text field using the data column. Just select None Selected for the Source option and enter the default text in the rich text field.

Note: Inside the Pageflex project, the variable type must be Formatted Text.
