Propago Proudly Announces a New Feature – “Offers”

offers propago sell print orders

We’re extremely excited to announce our latest major feature called Offers. Offers is a powerful tool for collecting orders together from a preselected group of products. Essentially, Offers is our version of group-buys. All orders come in with a status of “on hold” until the Offer ends or is manually processed. Once processed, the orders are released and sent to their respective production/procurement/fulfillment workflows.

From a production standpoint, Offers is a great way to streamline production and fulfillment. Reduce procurement & production by aggregating orders together over time and batching them up to be processed in bulk. Offers can be set to start and end on predefined dates or they can be available indefinitely and processed as desired.

From your client’s standpoint, Offers present a way to efficiently collect orders needed for a specific event or purpose. Additionally, Offers is a perfect tool for clients who need to organize collective ordering activity across a wide user base.

Besides collecting orders as they come in over time, another standout feature of Offers is price aggregation/discounting. This setting enables users to work together to unlock lower pricing on items in the Offer. With this option turned on, orders will be repriced once the Offer is processed based on the pricing tiers that are hit by the entire set of orders.

Everyone who participates in the Offer gets the benefit of volume-based discounts that aggregate the quantities across the orders. Users can see current pricing progress right on the Offers page. This adds a whole new element to ordering that encourages teamwork so they can unlock lower prices.

Some real-world use cases may include:

  • You or Your client is a Franchised QSR – You are trying to drum up orders for the Fall Marketing release that includes Print, Point of Sale, and SWAG. You entice targets by describing how they can unify their buying power.
  • You or Your client is a large corporation – You are trying to get some of your 500 employees to order branded apparel within a two-week window so you can place one large production order.
  • Or, you are quite simply trying to maintain the lowest product costs you can, and you are opening up ordering windows for quarterly marketing items.
  • Options are limitless.

For you, the brand, and the end user, Offers is a win, win, win.

How It Works

Offer setup takes place in a new section labeled “Offers” under the Parts tab in the back end. Get started by clicking Add and entering basic information about your new Offer such as a name and description. In the Offer Details section, you’ll be able to add Parts to the Offer and adjust the settings.

Some settings to note here are:

  • Offer Agg Pricing: If turned on, orders will be repriced once processed and parts in this Offer with Volume Based Discounts will add up all orders made to determine final pricing for each order.
  • Offer Start Date: The start date when the Offer is available. If not set it will be available immediately.
  • Offer End Date: The Offer expiration date. If not set, the Offer will be available indefinitely and will have to be manually told to process.
  • Offer Ship Date: If set, this will be the desired ship date for orders in the Offer. If not set, the desired ship date will be the Offer End Date.

On the front end, users will be able to see what time frame the Offer is available (if configured) and details of the Offer itself. If selected, users can add items from the Offer, change quantities, configure and personalize when applicable, and then add the whole Offer to their cart when they are ready. *Please note* Offer orders cannot be combined with other Offers or regular products, this will be handled in the cart/checkout process. If Offer Agg. Pricing is turned on, parts with pricing tiers will display a progress bar beneath them indicating how many more orders of that item it will take for the next price to be unlocked (Makes it a game!).

Once an order for an Offer is placed it stays in “on hold” status until the Offer has reached its end date or is manually processed. In the back end, you can see how many orders are currently participating in an Offer. There is also a Process button that allows you to manually push all orders on hold to be processed. It’s important to note that any orders that are still waiting for approval when the Offer is processed will be canceled.

That’s it folks — We are really proud of this new feature and think it will be a great selling point for you. If you have any questions or comments – as always please reach out!
